The Tioga Road will open on Friday, June 24, at 8am, according to the Yosemite website.
Soon we can start planning for our Eastern Sierra trips, such as Mt. Dana hiking, White Mountain biking, Minaret & Devils Postpile backpacking, and of course Mt. Whitney day hike / backpacking / mountaineering. You name it, lots of places to go.
It will be a busy summer for sure

I remember strat talked about the Eagles' open air concert in Lake Tahoe area in August. Can we make that into your busy schedule?

I am going to Mt. Whitney from July 29 to Aug 2. I may be able to go to the concert in Lake Tahoe in August if it is not crashing with the Volunteer trail crew trip. Is anybody interested in going with me? I may post the event at Bayarea Dragon.

Oh, I almost forgot. Here is the info provided by strat.
I believe what he mentioned is the one at Calaveras County Fairgrounds on August 13. Unfortunately all the tickets there are sold out 
But we still have 2 options at San Jose HP Pavilion:

That is no good. The real ticket at that locatioin is $68 for general admission. These guys are making BIG $$$
